Comparison is the Thief of Joy

If I had a twitter account, it would be on there, but since I don't it's on here. A small quote that my dad mentioned the other day that I don't want to forget. Chew on it for a little while, see what thoughts come to your mind.

I would agree.

The only time comparison could be a positive thing is if it were equally matched with a sense of motivation to level the playing field between what is and what is desired. But really, this only pertains to those things which are attainable...
So, maybe that quote is as simple as is stated. Because, I guess, who's to say what IS and IS NOT attainable?!

Tricky business, Mike! Tricky, tricky!
